Biography

Amanda Guszack has been teaching Social Studies for the past 14 years.  She graduated with a B.S. in Secondary Education in Social Studies and History as well as a minor in Psychology from the State University of New York at Oneonta.  After 3 years of teaching, she went back to earn a masters degree and received a Masters in Special Education from Western Connecticut University. She has experience teaching Global Studies I, US History and Government, and Psychology. Currently, she is the general education teacher in an integrated co-taught US History class that culminates with the NY state regents exam and is in her 2nd year of teaching AP Psychology.  She is a member of the New York State Council for Social Studies and is trained in Youth Mental Health First Aid.
