Dr. Kwesi Yankey received his doctorate degree in Curriculum and Instruction focusing on Mathematics Education at Argosy University and k-5 Mathematics Endorsement at Mercer University engaged in Teaching and research responsibilities on parental Involvement in students Academics success. He also received master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction with emphasis in Middle Grades Mathematics and ESOL Endorsement at Central Michigan University, Postgraduate in Mathematics Education.
Dr. Yankey is Currently teaching at A.L Corbett Middle School in Aiken County Public Schools District in South Carolina, Dr. Yankey is a member of Aiken County Public School District Math Curriculum Team as well as the State Algebra Content Review Team (EOCEP). He has served on the programming committees for the Past conferences of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics and West African Teachers of Mathematics. This year he was awarded outstanding performance of his accomplishment resulting in the Largest Gains in 7th Grade Mathematics in the District and double digit gains in 7th math. His goal is to make mathematics research projects for middle school students and how to close a lesson.
