Mendi Kelley has developed a career in the field of Education for the last 20 years. She is a Florida native and has worked in a K3-12 private school for the last 17 years. She is currently a secondary department chair. She teaches honors and AP level high school English and Composition. Additionally, she facilitates school wide in-service meetings and continuing education opportunities. She is the sponsor of her school’s Study Abroad for Student Leaders organization through which she has had the opportunity to take student leaders to different places across the globe as they develop their leadership skills in a global context. Prior to that, she worked for a Florida theme park and a national non-profit group developing curriculum for their youth education programs. She graduated with a BA in English from the University of Florida in 1998 and went on to study at Liberty University, where she earned a master’s degree in Education with an emphasis in Teaching and Learning.
